Mathern Day Nursery, Established 1989, boasts an excellent reputation for over 35 years, built up on providing the highest standard of care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
We are the smallest nursery in the Chepstow area which enables us to create a relaxed, friendly, family atmosphere. All of our staff get to know each child.
We offer full or part time places from 8:00am to 6:00pm, closing only for bank holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. Places are available for children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age.
We offer an early start from 7:00am for an extra charge.

OPENING HOURS
Monday – Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm, 51 weeks of the year
Session times 8:00am – 1:00pm & 1:00pm – 6:00pm
We do open at 7:00am for an additional charge of £11 or from 7:30am for £5.50
We also offer breakfast which is charged at £2
We close for all Bank Holidays and 3 days at Christmas.
Bank Holidays will be charged at half rate
MENUS
All of our meals are cooked on the premises using fresh ingredients. Menus are revised regularly to enable us to offer the children seasonal meals. We are able to cater for special dietary needs and food intolerances. We are a nut-free nursery.
Daily snacks include fresh fruit, vegetable sticks, breadsticks, rice cakes, scotch pancakes etc.
